Auggie's Bar & Grill

"Augies Bar & Grill has been one of my favorite spots to watch sports while drinking a beer and grabbing a bite from Mariscos Los Laras (IG MariscosLosLaras). This restaurant is located inside Augies Bar & Grill, and their menu consists of mariscos and Mexican food, although they offer wings and fries. Today, I came with a friend to witness the Dodgers win and see Shohei Ohtani hit his 51st home run and steal his 51st base. The ambiance was calm for this Thursday afternoon, but the music Playlist was on point. The bartenders were beautiful as always and attentive to our needs. After a couple of cold Pacifico beers, my friend and I got hungry and decided to order some aguachiles verdes and two tacos governador. Our order took a little longer than expected (Approximately 20 minutes), but we understood because the owner had barely opened his restaurant when we ordered. The aguachiles came first because they were not hard to prepare and looked delicious. Unfortunately, I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of my plate midway through. The plate had a good amount of shrimp marinated in spicy lime sauce, slices of avocado, red onions, cucumber, and about 3 to 4 tostadas served inside a plastic bag. Overall, this plate is perfect to satisfy your appetite temporarily. About 10 minutes later, the tacos governador plate came out with a slice of lime and a sauce that is hard to describe, but it was really good. The taco was cheesy and had plenty of shrimp for the traditional tortilla. The type of salsa they serve it with complements the governador and is delicious. In conclusion, I will continue to come here because of their sports ambiance, cold beers, beautiful bartenders providing excellent customer service, and Mariscos Los Laras serving delicious food."

"Great dive bar. Spacious, clean, great old school music that's a mix of genres for everyone. A decent selection of beers compliments the atmosphere of a low key work night out. Don't come here for cocktails and dancing, come to get your buzz on and talk. There's a few games available along with a parking lot. Also, Pepe's pork crisps!!!"

"Love the attention. That was my only comment as i did get all the attention from the waitresses. That was 11 months ago. A whole year I'm back at the same spot checking if still same atmosphere as before. Now there is a live dj playing all your old times favorites. From corridos to rock en Espanol. To hip hop. The crowd still seems to keep divided an even though we are on an enclosed place we try to keep with our own. Bar indoors now."
